The cave lies to the west of Koudoumas Monastery, and you can approach it through an accessible short path that offers impressive sea views. It is small but has rich formations of stalagmites and stalactites.

It is dedicated to Agios Kosmas Erimitis who lived in the area of Asterousia in the 7th century. Inside the cave, there is an altar in honour of the Saint.
