The beach is at the exit points of the Klados and Flokos gorges, 7km to the east of Sougia. The landscape is impressive with geological formations that resemble rooftops or domata, hence the name. These formations were created by the corrosive activity of the water and the wind on the conglomerate rocks consisting of pebbles, earth and other debris coming from the gorge.
The clear blue waters, small pebbles and pine trees create a unique landscape at this secluded beach of Domata. You can reach it by hiking the demanding E4 path from Sougia to Agia Roumeli. The beach has no catering, so visitors should plan for food and water.
