The cave is in the southern slopes of the White Mountains. You can reach it with a 2.5-hour hike that starts from the village of Agios Ioannis. Running through the cave is an underground river, about 1900m long that emerges into the Aradena gorge. The first 400m are accessible but require caution when the river is swollen. There are rich decorations of stalactites and stalagmites, and the floor is covered with sand.
