The beach is to the northeast of Xerokambos. It is accessible by car until a parking lot; from there a path continues to the beach.

Notable is the sea dafodill (Pancratium maritimum) which grows on the large sand dunes of the area. This small flower, katsounaki as the locals call it, gave its name to the beach.

The landscape is completed with some impressive rock formations, created by the corrosive action of water on the limestones. Katsounaki with its blue waters and long sandy beach is an ideal destination for those who like calm natural landscapes.

The beach has no catering, so you should plan for food and water.
