The beach lies south of Mount Kofinas, in front of Koudoumas Monastery. It is a beach with small pebbles and cool waters, surrounded by high rocks. On its eastern side the beach has caves that offer shade to bathers. The area hosted many hermits because of its many caves.

You can reach the beach through a 20km dirt road that starts from Sternes. Because of the high-altitude difference (1000m) the view during the descent is unique.

The beach has no infrastructure, so visitors should plan for food and water.
