Beaches
Mazida Amos

The beach is within a bay south of Xerokambos and borders three small islets. You can access it by car from a road that runs along the shore.

It has a long coastline with white sand, turquoise waters and tamarisks that offer shade. In 1975-76 Jacques Yves Cousteau’s famous oceanographic boat Calypso remained in the area for a summer.

There is a mini market nearby.

The project is implemented through the Regional Development Fund of Crete
