The cave is located on the hill Koufoto near Sisses village. It grows within platy limestones and has rich decoration with stalactites, stalagmites and coralloids.
It has five halls that expand from the smallest to the largest. Findings testify that the cave has been in use since prehistoric times. Its mapping was completed in 1992.
