This castle is above the village of Loutro, in Sfakia, on a mound close to Anopoli. It is next to the path linking Anopoli with Loutro.
This small castle was built in 1868 and today hosts the church of Saint Ekaterini. It was probably used as an observation point towards the sea and was in direct contact with the castle of Loutro.
