The gorge is located west of the village of Mournia and gathers the waters of the plateau of Pervola.

The route is 4km in total with an altitude difference of 500m. The descent takes place within the gorge’s bed and requires a lot of experience and technical equipment. Along the route there are impressive geological formations, caves, and small waterfalls 25m high.

In the middle of the route the descent becomes easier but remains technical. You can hike a part of the gorge through a bypass that descends parallel to the gorge and reaches the beautiful Kaminaki beach. Due to its wild and almost inaccessible landscape, the Pervoliano gorge is a protected habitat of birds of prey.
