The gorge lies to the east of Asterousia. It starts at the area Sfakaki at a height of 310m, and ends at the beach, near the village of Tsoutsouros. To descend the gorge, you need technical equipment. It has 13 descents, the highest at 32m. The total length is 1.5km and it requires about 2 hours of canyoning. It is ideal for novices.

Along the way you can admire the wild birds and especially the birds of prey that nest there. You can visit the gorge during winter, from January to March, when the water flow is weaker.
