The gorge lies to the east of Asterousia next to the larger gorge of Tsoutsouras. The crossing starts from the location Meli Lakos (honey’s pit) and reaches the area of Staoussa.
The path is small and quite rugged. It has 16 impressive waterfalls, with the tallest reaching a height of 15m. For the descent of the gorge, you will need technical equipment, especially in the winter months when the waterfalls are filled with water.
